Call for Graphic Designers: Rebranding PDAF for its 10th Edition

July 2025

Background:

About 7amleh
7amleh – The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting Palestinian digital rights. We work to ensure a safe, fair, and free digital space for Palestinians through research, capacity building in digital rights and security, and advocacy at both local and international levels.

About Palestine Digital Activism Forum
Launched by 7amleh in 2017, the Palestine Digital Activism Forum (PDAF) has become an important annual space for digital rights defenders, activists, and civil society actors. The forum fosters dialogue around the challenges Palestinians face in the digital sphere and offers a collaborative environment for sharing strategies, tools, and experiences. It also helps connect local efforts with global movements, facilitating knowledge exchange and joint action.

Project Description:

As PDAF approaches its 10th edition, we are seeking a talented and visionary graphic designer or design studio to lead a comprehensive rebranding process. The new identity should reflect PDAF’s growth, impact, and forward-looking vision, while remaining true to 7amleh’s mission and values.

What We’re Looking For:

We are commissioning a full visual rebranding package that includes:

  • A new visual identity (logo, typography, iconography)

  • A refreshed color palette and updated branding elements

  • A comprehensive brand guidelines document

  • A visual concept for PDAF’s website that aligns with the new brand identity, including layout style, color schemes, and graphic elements that enhance the user experience

  • A design direction that is bold, contemporary, and culturally resonant, while grounded in 7amleh’s commitment to digital rights and social justice

We welcome creative interpretations that build on PDAF’s visual legacy while envisioning a bold new chapter.

Applicants are encouraged to review:

  • www.pdaf.net - for insight into PDAF’s past events and visual history

  • www.7amleh.org - to better understand our mission, work, and values

Scope of Work:

The exact deliverables, timeline, and expectations will be discussed and finalized in collaboration with the selected designer or studio.

Who Should Apply:

We welcome applications from:

  • Graphic designers, branding specialists, or studios with experience in nonprofit, cultural, advocacy, or human rights-focused work

  • Designers with a strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating creative innovation, attention to visual detail, and cultural awareness

How to Apply:

Please send the following materials to jobs@7amleh.org by 15 August 2025 with subject line: PDAF Designer.

A short introduction or statement of interest

  • Your portfolio showcasing relevant work

  • A CV and short bio

  • Initial concept ideas for PDAF’s rebranding, including your vision for the visual direction and how it could evolve while staying rooted in 7amleh’s values

  • Please indicate in your application if you have experience in web visual design or website branding

We look forward to collaborating with a designer who can help us reimagine the visual identity of PDAF and define the next era of Palestinian digital activism. Be part of shaping the future - visually and strategically.
